Breakfast with a Superhero

I had the special opportunity to interview Superman this morning after he finished his Cheerios. Please excuse the framed pictures you'll notice against the walls in the background. We haven't decided where to hang them since painting over Spring Break. And you'll notice our pile of winter wear in the green rocking chair! There is so much of it that we're still using!

Silly boys, silly socks, blue walls

BJ's chin is a little cut up from an unfortunate fall on the playground at school. The boys LOVE their new silly socks they got for Easter! I'm delighted to say that even I received a pair. They are sitting on their bed, so you cam see our new blue bedroom paint. We like very much:)

Coloring Eggs

The boys and I had a much different experience this year coloring our eggs without daddy here (busy with work obligations) to share his technique and energy AND without the family that seems to have surrounded us in years past. The boys did have a great deal of fun coloring and recoloring the eggs though. We did pure vinegar, not sure if we were supposed to add water to the dye and vinegar solution. The colors were pretty strong! You can see the newly painted yellow walls behind the boys.

Swim Lessons

The boys LOVED their first swim lesson yesterday. CJ has taken lessons before, but this was a first experience for BJ. He was quite timid at first, but once in the water, decided it was just fine. Our instructor couldn't be more perfect! She is so warm and encouraging. Neither boy wanted to leave when our lesson was over. We're looking very forward to next Saturday. Yes, the pool was heated!
