The "Brown Bible" is what my sisters and I lovingly call the family cookbook that I've used for years and years now. It has the best recipe for sugar cookies that I've ever found, and I've tried many others.
According to my mom, the Brown Bible is "the Pine Bluff Jr. League Cookbook. My cousin, Bess sent my mother and me a copy when the first edition came out. She had helped write it. Since then there are other editions you can order. Mimo liked mine and ordered herself one."

With encouragement from a "gma", I'm attempting to activate a blog. We'll see if I am successful!
Way to go girl! The blog is such a easy way to share the latest with everyone. I'll bookmark it. Love the title too! I'm sad because I don't have a copy of the brown bible. I need to inquire with the jr league if they still offer them!

I do have a brown bible and love it! The best part about it for me is all of Mimo's fun comments such as "Delicious!" or "A good Christmas cake."
